Settings

Settings opens as a dialog with five sections in the left navigation:

SectionWhat you can do
GeneralSwitch language (Follow system / Chinese / English), re-run the setup wizard, read the trademark notice
Machine infoDevice name, device id, platform and version, service status
Environment & AI CLIDetect Node / NVM / agent CLIs and install or update them from inside the app

PairingShow the pairing code, copy it, refresh it, and display its QR code

Set up the environment

1

Open Settings > Environment & AI CLI

The app runs a detection pass and reports what is installed.

2

Install Node if missing

Use Install NVM or Install Node. If several versions exist, pick one with Switch Node Default.

3

Install an agent CLI

Use Install Agent CLI for Claude Code, Codex CLI, pi or OpenCode; Update Agent CLI upgrades an existing one.

4

Re-run detection

Run the check again until the agent shows as installed, then start a conversation.

Send your first task

1

New conversation

Click New Conversation in the sidebar.

2

Pick a working directory

Use the directory bar above the composer to choose where the agent should work. Leaving it unbound keeps the previous behaviour.

3

Choose agent and model

Use the composer toolbar dropdowns. Model can be left on Follow Agent Config.

4

Type and send

Enter your task and send it. Progress is streamed into the chat view.

5

Watch the terminal

Open the terminal dock if you want to follow raw output.

Switching agents clears the model choice

Model preferences are per agent. When you switch the active agent inside a conversation, the model selection for that conversation is reset — the app warns you before it happens.

Conversation management

  • Rename, pin/unpin, archive/restore and delete conversations from the sidebar or the conversation menu.
  • Bind or unbind a working directory per conversation.
  • Set a per-conversation approval mode and model.
