Android

Discover your computer over NSD, pair it, and drive conversations from your phone.

Android

The home screen

  • Device tab bar: a horizontal row of your computers. Each tab shows the system label, name and a status dot. The dropdown on a tab offers Edit and Delete; the + at the end adds one.
  • Nearby section: appears only when a discovered device has not been added yet. Each entry has an Add button.
  • Content area: empty-state card when there is no device, a "Connecting to your computer…" card while preparing, the conversation list, or the conversation detail.

Discover and add

1

Put both devices on the same Wi-Fi

Start BrewPing on your computer first.

2

Tap +

The device form opens with Host (IP or hostname), Port, Name and a system filter chip.

3

Auto Discover or manual

Tap Auto Discover to browse _brewping._tcp via NSD (it shows Searching… while running). If nothing appears, type the host and port yourself.

4

Pair

Confirm, then enter the 6-digit code in the Pair dialog. Scan QR is available as an alternative.

Pairing errors

An expired or wrong code reports "Invalid or expired pairing code". Because the code is single-use, a second phone trying the same code sees "Pairing code is single-use and was already used by another phone…" — generate a new code on the computer and try again.

Conversations

  • Create with New Conversation; open one to see its detail screen.
  • Pin or unpin, archive, restore and delete. Deleting asks "Delete this conversation permanently? This cannot be undone."
  • Per conversation: switch agent, pick a model (or Follow Agent Config), set the approval mode, and bind or unbind a working folder.

Approvals

When a task needs permission, a dialog titled Approval Required appears with three choices:

ActionEffect
Approve OnceRuns this single command
Always Allow This TypeApproves this category of command from now on
DenyRejects the command

Language

Use the language menu in the top app bar to switch between Follow system, Simplified Chinese and English.

The Android build has no Demo mode — it needs a real computer on the network to show anything.
