iPhone & Apple Watch

Add your computer, send a task, read the result — and do it from your wrist.

iOSwatchOS

The home screen

The iPhone app shows one of three states, depending on what it knows about your setup:

StateWhat you see
PairedA status banner plus the conversation list
No device yetA permission card, then the empty-state card and the Nearby list once a scan has completed
Device added but not pairedA Pairing required section telling you the device is not paired yet, with an Enter pairing code button

Add your computer

1

Tap +

The Add Device sheet opens.

2

Fill in the device

Name (for example Chenzk), Host (IP or hostname), Port (defaults to 8787) and System (Mac / Windows / Linux).

3

Or use Auto Discover

Tap Auto Discover and the app browses for _brewping._tcp on the local network. A successful lookup shows Found: <name> (<host>:<port>).

4

Enter the pairing code

Type the 6 digits from your computer into the Pairing section, or tap Scan QR Code to scan it.

5

Save

Tap Add. On success the app reports Paired successfully.

Nothing showing up?

The empty state offers a "Nearby Mac not showing up?" hint and an Enter IP Manually action. Local Network permission shows as Allowed / Denied / Not granted right on the card — if it is not Allowed, discovery cannot work.

Send a task

1

Open a conversation

Tap a conversation in the list, or start a new one.

2

Type your task

Use the composer at the bottom of the conversation.

3

Send

Tap the round arrow-up button.

4

Wait for the result

While the agent works, the conversation shows "<agent> is thinking…". The result is rendered when the command completes.

Apple Watch

The watch app has three blocks: a device section, a Conversations entry, and a connection status section.

1

Pick a device

With one device it is shown directly. With several, use the left/right stepper or the horizontal drag gesture.

2

Open Conversations

The entry shows how many conversations are available.

3

Read the status line

Connection shows Connecting..., Connected or iPhone Not Connected. Host state reads Mac: <agent> Ready / Running / Session Stopped / Offline.

4

Send by voice

Tap the microphone to raise the system keyboard, dictate your task, then dismiss the keyboard — the message sends automatically on losing focus. The button shows a spinner while sending and a checkmark when done.

Help, language and about

  • Tap the question mark in the top-right corner to open Help & About.
  • The first section is Language: Follow system / Simplified Chinese / English. Switching takes effect immediately, with no restart and no change to the system language. The watch follows the iPhone's choice.
  • Help & About also covers how BrewPing works, computer setup steps, the demo path, the privacy policy, support contact, legal notices and the app version.
